Desiccating (weapon enchantment)
Aus DnD-Gate Wiki
Desiccating is a weapon enchantment that can be used for any weapon.
Desiccating weapons tend to look edged, jagged and rusted, as if having lain somewhere for a long time. They do +1d6 points of damage by drawing moisture from their victims. Creatures with the water or aquatic subtype, as well as oozes and plants suffer +2d6 points of extra damage from that kind of weapon instead of the usual +1d6, but creatures that don’t need to drink (such as undead, constructs or elementals other than water) suffer no extra damage at all. Outsiders are an exception and practically always suffer from that extra damage, for their bodies simulate a working organism. Desiccating weapons do no extra damage underwater.
