Proficient (armor enchantment)

Proficient is an armor enchantment that can be applied both to body armor and to shields.
The wearer of this type of armor automatically knows how to best move within it, and thus automatically counts as proficient with it, negating the armor check penalty to attack bonus when fighting in armor one is not proficient with. Since armor doesn't interfere with psionics, but many psionic characters are generally not proficient with armor, proficient armor is very popular with psions, and most are of psionic creation.
