Weightless (armor enchantment)

Weightless is an enchantment that can be used for body armor and shields.
The armor can float in the air without being held by outside force. It has no weight and doesn’t encumber a character wearing or carrying it. Its armor check penalty is lessened by 5 (up to a minimum of –1, representing a penalty due to the armor’s construction), and it doesn’t confer a penalty to the character’s speed. The maximum Dex bonus to AC the armor allows increases by +2, but the weightless enchantment can't improve the total maximum Dex bonus of an armor above +3.
